Hon. Martin Moulis
Martin Moulis was born on May 13, 1978 in Pilsen, Czech Republic. He holds a degree in Political Science and European Studies from the Palacký University of Olomouc, Czech Republic. During his career he has undertaken various training programs including a study of the British political system at Queen Mary, University of London, and internships in the European Parliament and NATO headquarters in Brussels.

In the 2002 and 2006 local elections Moulis was elected a Member of Local Government of District Pilsen 3 in the City of Pilsen, where from 2004 to 2006 he was Deputy Mayor responsible for the Department of Housing and the Department of Building and Transportation.

In 2007 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic responsible for international relations. At the Ministry of Justice he was also a chairman of the ministerial commission for reform of the prison service in the Czech Republic. He was a Member of Government Councils for Roma Community Affairs and National Minorities. In 2008 he moved to the Ministry of Defence to serve as Director of the Minister’s Cabinet. Martin Moulis currently serves as an Advisor to the Minister of Defence.

He became Vice-President of the Prague Society for International Cooperation in October 2009.
